UKCC Rugby Coaching CourseThere ar two rugby UKCC courses (3-day course) in this area coming soon as follows:  
Level 1 in Aviemore 17-19 May 2013 and
Level 2 in Ellon on 27 April & 25-26 May 2013. Applications are on the SRU website under coaching.

ARE YOU RUGBY READY? From the start of the 2010/11 season it will be a new minimum requirement for all rugby teachers, coaches and referees in Scotland to complete the new Rugby Ready Practical course. RUGBY READY COURSE
The minimum standard for any rugby coach or club referee who wants to deliver rugby is to have completed the SRU Rugby Ready course. There are 4 types of rugby ready courses; Mini, Youth, Club Referee and Senior - the Senior course is run for adult club coaches at either Inverness or Aberdeen and a proffessional coach delivers a part of a module. This 2 hour practical annual refresher courses is to ensure all coaches are current with any new safety initiatives (like scrumready, functional screening etc), welfare, developing front row players, tackle safety and IRB law amendment trials. These courses are generally ran at the start of the season and the course lists are on the SRU Website/are your ready to play rugby/rugby ready practical course list - then register for a course.
